Hello, I’m Abigail
I’m a pluralistic therapist, which means I use a variety of psychological and counselling approaches depending on what’s troubling you and how you’d like to work together. Key to the way I work is spending time really getting to know you, so that between us we can find ways of lightening the load, processing past events and relationship, making sense of difficulties stemming from the past, and building resilience for the future.
There’s lots of flexibility and collaboration in the way I work, but in a nutshell, you’ll get a real sense of “we’re in this together.”
I’m qualified to Post-graduate Diploma level and am currently completing my advanced studies on the renowned Masters counselling course at the University of Abertay in Dundee. I am continuing my training in ongoing clinical placements and also have plenty of lived experience to bring to my practice. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
